pakistan.gg is an independent record of Pakistani esports. It is not owned by or affiliated with any game publisher, organiser or federation, and nobody can pay to change what it records.

Independence
pakistan.gg is run by its founder and editor, Moeez Ikram. It has no backing from any publisher, organiser or federation, and none of them reviews what it publishes. The record shows what the sources show.
No betting
pakistan.gg will never show betting odds, betting adverts or betting affiliate links, and it does not work with betting brands. It stores no betting data. Gambling is illegal in Pakistan.
Sources on every result
- Every result keeps a link to its source, and the page shows it.
- From Liquipedia, pakistan.gg takes facts such as placings, dates and prize money, never its text. Liquipedia data is used under CC BY-SA 3.0 and credited on every page.
- pakistan.gg does not copy articles or profile text from any site. News reports are used as leads for an editor to check, and are linked when they are the source of a result.

How players are named
- Players are listed under their handle, the name they compete under.
- A real name appears only when a source has already published it. A city appears only when a source lists it.
- Birth dates and contact details are not shown.
- Pages repeat a player's handle instead of using pronouns, so nobody's pronouns are assumed.
Photos and images
- A player photo is used only with the rights holder's permission, or under an open licence that allows reuse, such as CC BY or CC BY-SA.
- Every photo is credited on the player's page.
- Photos are never taken from Instagram.
- A player or rights holder can ask for a photo to be taken down, and it will be removed. See removal requests.
- Players without a photo show their initials on artwork from their game.
- Game art belongs to its publishers and is used to identify each game. Team logos come from the teams and Liquipedia, shown unedited to identify the team.
Adverts and paid placement
- pakistan.gg does not carry adverts yet. When it does, every advert will be labelled as an advert and kept apart from the record.
- Advertisers and sponsors will have no say over results, profiles, titles, earnings or the order of any list.
- Nobody can pay to be added to the record, to have a result changed or to move up the player, team or earnings lists. If an event listing is ever promoted for payment, it will be labelled as paid.
Who edits
Moeez Ikram founded pakistan.gg and is its editor. He reviews possible duplicate profiles and nationality disagreements, merges profiles, adds results that no database covers and makes corrections. You can write to him at hello@pakistan.gg, or see the contact page.
